messing around

I've been playing with the look and feel of this web site again.  It seems like I'll never be happy with how it looks, so I'm going to mess around with this one for a while and see how it goes.  
You know, I really have no idea what I want to do with this site anymore.  Blogging has gotten so stale, and I keep in touch with you more over the phone and face to face than I do through this site.  I know it was never meant to be a magic bullet to end all communication, but I could have done, and still could be doing something more than these perpetual changes to the technical end of the site.  There's that term again.  I was talking with Dave in work recently, and he mentioned that blogging wasn't a magic bullet. He's right of course, but the potential is there to do so much if one just sticks with it.  And yes, I know I go through this every couple of months too, but I never come up with something different to do.  It could be that I'm just not cut out to express myself with text.  Maybe I need to find a new medium?  Right, like I could paint or something.
I'll think about it again.  Really this time.
