Pain. Lots of pain. Lots of pain killers, and a big dose of anesthetic are combining to make me feel pretty fucked too. The lovely Dr. McVeigh is quite adept in her administration of pain, but very comforting during its application. She's going on holidays tomorrow though, so I can't go back for more until December 4th. On the plus side, the heating was fixed this morning, so we're warm again. Anna's still wearing fourteen layers of clothing though, I don't think the heat has permeated to her core yet. Apparently the fan in the unit was seized, so he freed it with some WD-40 and it looks like its running fine now. It may still need to be replaced though, if it stops again, which would be a bummer. Oh, I've been watching the new Star Trek series over the last few days, and have seen up to episode 7, and it rocks. I may have mentioned it before, but as soon as it hits TV, watch, tape, and re-watch it... the scripting is brilliant, the character development deep and insightful. Of all the characters, the Vulcan Science officer T'Pol is shaping up to be my favourite. We get to see more of her personality than others, and the continuing sub-plot of her integration onto a human starship (relationships between Vulcans and Humans are strained and difficult) is pretty cool. You'll see :-)
