design

I've been looking at some new designs for the site over the last couple of weeks, and I have yet to come up with something original.  Actually, that isn't quite true... I have come up with a design, but I can't translate that into the kind of graphics I want on the PC.  Maybe there is something to be said about macintosh designers after all ;-)  Anyway, I've just ordered a graphics tablet (pen thing for drawing staight into a graphics program) so I'll be a little way along in the search for the nicest layout I can get.  In the mean time, I've come up with some awful shit, including this Windows XP Desktop analogue.  Meanwhile, in the real world, there's not much happening.  Anna is due to get her H.N.D. this week, and I'm still working on AOL 7.  That should be finished soon, which gives me a couple of quiet months when I can mop up the stuff which got put aside for the last 6 months.  Dan's website is coming along nicely, though its slower than I had expected.  The search engine is now working at last... drop by and have a look :-)  If anyone sees something wrong, please let me know.  Going to hit the sack now, I have to be up at 6 to catch a plane to Dublin.
