30

Yesterday I turned 30. I'm not sure how I should feel about being 30, but I don't think I feel old. No, I know I don't feel old (though I need to get back in shape really badly), but I still felt a little strange about it. Maybe it was that I realised that my birthday wasn't as significant an event as it was when I was younger, and that my plans for it were actually quite mundane. Perhaps its a reaction against some form of subconcious ageism. Whatever it was, I am now 30. I'm not going to pontificate about the last decade, but it was definitely fun. You were involved, so you know what I mean :-) Fun and interesting. I learned more in the last 10 years than the previous 20, which is counter to what I would have expected to be the case (particularly when I was a teenager!).
In other news, we are definitely going to move this year, and it looks like we are going to Italy... Rome to be precise. I'll have more when it happens, but at the moment I'm trying to work out some way of moving there and taking my job with me (Graham, pay attention and start doing things). Now its gone... mental blank, my head has just shut down and doesn't remember any of the things I was going to put here. Later
