Today was the hottest day of the year. It hit 32° and was appropriately humid too. We spent the day looking around Apsley House and throwing a frisbee in Hyde Park... slowly, to avoid exerting ourselves too much ;-) Apsley house is cool, its the old residence of the Duke of Wellington, and has a museum devoted to him. Hyde Park was packed, but that was to be expected. Now, its 23:00 and I'm going to start working on my new project - a database back-end to a web site for my cousin Dan's new model agency. I've been working on this for a couple of weeks now, getting stuff together. Its going to look pretty good I think. Dan has someone who is going to design the UI for the site, inside which will sit my code to access the database.
Plans are still ongoing to move before the end of the year, and we are pretty set on it being Rome. Anna picked up a copy of a book called Living and Working in Rome during the week, so we're going to get into that soon. Oh, I've started playing Badminton again, with some people from work. The first session was last week, and I was completely fucked after an hour of it... I need to get fit. Fun though :-)
